Sonya
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Sonya graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2011 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting, and joined our practice in 2013. She has devoted her time toward earning her certification in radiology and Cad Cam dentistry, with additional training in Implant dentistry. She is a dedicated member of our team, with patient care as her number one priority. She resides in Plymouth with her fur babies.
Liz
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
We welcomed Liz to the BFD team in 2017. She obtained her Certificate in Dental Assisting from Everest College and her Dental Radiography License in 2009. Shortly after, she continued her training to become an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Most recently, Liz earned her certification in Coronal Polishing. She takes pride in her part to create healthy, beautiful smiles and strives to make every patient feel cared for while at the office. Originally from Valparaiso, Liz now resides in Plymouth with her husband and three children.
Jessica
Dental Hygienist
Jessica earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University South Bend in 2014 and we welcomed her at BFD just a few months later. In addition to being a licensed hygienist, she is licensed to administer local anesthetic. Jessica takes pride in providing patients with an understanding of the care they receive and equipping them with the knowledge of what it takes to achieve good oral health. She lives in Walkerton with her husband, active dog, and two adventurous cats.
Jeanna
Dental Hygienist
Jeanna joined the BFD team in 2021. She has worked in dentistry for 34 years. Jeanna graduated with an Associates of Science Degree from Southwestern Michigan College. She later went on to receive her Associates in Dental Hygiene from IUSB, as well as her Bachelors in General Studies. She has one daughter, currently attending college at IUSB studying Bio-Chemistry. Jeanna resides at the lake in Bremen, where she enjoys riding on her pontoon boat and taking care of her daughter's horses.
Tori
Patient Coordinator
Tori joined the BFD team in early 2020, just before the pandemic began. With office changes, she quickly assumed front office responsibilities and willingly embraced her new role. She was quick to learn and eager to help re-establish front office procedures and protocols. She graduated from Knox High School and attended Bethel College, where she studied Kinesiology. Tori currently resides in Knox with her husband, baby, and rambunctious dog.
Chandra
Patient Coordinator
We welcomed Chandra to our team in the summer of 2020. She graduated in 2018 from IUSB with her license in Radiology Technology. She quickly learned the responsibilities in dealing with Insurance and has eagerly assumed the role of Insurance Coordinator within the office. She lives in Knox with her daughter, dachshund pup, and cat.
